Parenting FDR
Parenting Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is a constructive and child-focused approach to resolving parenting matters. At Family Focus Mediation, we understand that separation can be a challenging time for families but creating a clear and cooperative Parenting Plan is crucial for the well-being of your children.
Our experienced FDR practitioners provide a safe and neutral environment where parents can work together to reach agreements on important matters, such as care arrangements, communication, and shared responsibilities. By focusing on your children’s best interests, we help you develop practical, future-focused solutions that benefit the entire family.
Our fees reflect each stage of the process, your initial Intake & Assessment providing a 1.5 hour individual session for each parent, and Mediation Session (Parenting) a four-hour joint mediation (if appropriate), usually conducted by Zoom.
We will document any agreements in a Parenting Plan at no extra cost. Our mediators are accredited by the Attorney General’s Department and if mediation does not eventuate or no agreement is made, we can provide you with a Section 60i Certificate to help your family with the next step.
With Family Focus Mediation, you’ll receive guidance, support, and resources to navigate this journey. Our goal is to help you build a foundation for effective co-parenting and a positive future for your children.
