Step 1 - Contact Family Focus Mediation to book a free 15 minute consultation with one of our Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRP).
Step 2 - Attend an individual Intake and Assessment, this is an opportunity to discuss your matter, gather all the necessary information and understand the next steps and what to expect in Family Dispute Resolution (FDR).
Step 3 - FDR session: Where your mediator provides a space for you both to explore options and create an agreement that suits your family's needs. Please discuss options with us or read our FAQ for more information.
Step 4 - Developing a written agreement: If an agreement is reached, the FDR practitioner will draft a written agreement that outlines exactly what you both agreed to. This agreement can be legally binding if you wish.
Step 5 - Understand that you are always welcome to attend further mediation sessions for review. If your circumstances change or your current plan is no longer meeting your needs, we can assist you in reviewing and updating your current plan.
